Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for the exfoliation of the epidermis and the removal of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face and neck.
The effects of dermaplaning are immediate and the skin will appear softer and smoother. The exfoliation aspect of the treatment helps congested and dull skin, ensuring a radiant glow afterwards. Other benefits to the skin is improved texture and a smooth canvas for make-up application as well and helping to get maximum absorption from home skincare products.
What does dermaplaning involve?
The dermaplaning facial procedure involves using a sterile blade to scrape across the face removing the vellus hair and dead skin cells.
Prior to treatment the skin will be cleansed and prepared using Clinicare range of skin products. Prior to the blade touching the skin, the skin will be disinfected ensuring optimum infection control.
Following the dermaplaning, an enzyme peel is applied to further exfoliate the skin before toning and moisturising. A slow release skin booster serum is then massaged into the skin, containing premium ingredients for the ultimate skin rejuvenation!
If opting for the Deluxe Dermaplane treatment, a soothing, hydrating mask is applied specific to your skin concern and you can just relax!! Finishing off with time under the Celluma professional LED light therapy face lamp. Your face will feel soft and your skin rejuvenated for weeks to come!
